In maths, Year 5 have been learning to find unit fractions and non-unit fractions of quantities.

Outdoor art club made some great mandalas using natural resources they found around the garden.

Nursery children have been recognising significant numbers.

Reception had an amazing time at forest school this week. We made birds nests, mini gardens, climbed trees and so much more! We can’t wait for the next visit.

Year 1 enjoyed a sunny walk this week. We looked for trees in our local area. We saw some beautiful wild flowers on the way too.

In Year 3 for RE, we learnt the story of Moses and Passover. We recreated scenes from the story in a freeze frame activity.

In geography,  Year 4 were researching the first Black British man to explore the Arctic Pole, Dwayne Fields. We found out lots of interesting information.

In PSHE, Year 6 created some mind maps listing strategies to use when feeling sad, anxious or angry.

Nursery children read the story ‘Aaarrggggh spider!’ and took the opportunity to talk about their personal experiences with spiders.
