In art, Year 1 have been recapping the colour wheel and learning about mixing primary colours to make secondary colours.

Year 2 have started reading ‘The Secret Sky Garden’. We designed our own sky garden.

In writing, Year 4 created paper airplanes using different instructions. Following this, they evaluated each set of instructions and discussed their efficiency.

Year 5 started their science unit by dissecting tulips to explore the male and female parts of a plant.

Year 6 have been focusing on how to find unknowns in maths.  

The sustainability squad has been distributing some aloe plants and spider plant cuttings as part of our efforts to improve air quality inside classrooms. They made some small information tags…

We had fun using our bodies to hula a hoop around our waist for longer then 3 seconds.
