Message from Rachel and Jo
It was lovely to see so many families attend our International Day of Happiness crafting session on Thursday. There were some beautiful creations made. We are looking forward to more sessions like this and to adding to these with the children in school to create a collaborative community art installation for the main office foyer.
Thank you to everyone who made a donation for Red Nose Day. We are pleased to announce that we raised £230. Your generosity is truly appreciated. The children had lots of fun taking part in red nose and spoon races in the playground.
It has been great to see an increase in attendance this week. We shall be drawing our first raffle prizes in assembly on Monday for those children who had 100% attendance for the school week 10th-14th March 2025. We are looking forward to announcing our first winners in next week’s newsletter. The attendance raffle will be drawn every week.

PTA Spring Fayre
Our first PTA Spring Fayre will take place next week on Friday 28th April. We are looking forward to seeing you all there. The Fayre will be cash only on the day but tokens with a value of 50p (minimum amount £5) will be available for card purchase from the office all day on 28th April.
Raffle Tickets will be on sale from Monday in the main office. 5 for £1. Prizes include tickets for the Picture House, Hackney Empire and Hackney Gelato, vouchers, Lego and more.
Nursery Admissions September 2025
Do you have a child who will turn 3 before the 31st of August this year? If so, applications are now open for our school nursery for September 2025. We have full time and part time places available (15 or 30 hours). Please state your preference on the application form. Places will be allocated using Hackney’s nursery admissions criteria. The closing date for applications is 30th April 2025. Any applications received after this date will be allocated if spaces are available. Please look out for an email with the application form next week. You can also get a paper copy of the form from the office.
