This week, Year 6 had an amazing trip to Benjamin Franklin House where they had the opportunity to  learn about Benjamin Franklin’s life and his research into lightning. They were able to observe a live science demonstration about the true nature of lightning. They participated in hair raising experiments with static electricity before recreating Franklin’s most famous experiment – flying a kite into a thunderstorm.
