Strategic Priorities
- To further develop the pedagogy, teaching and culture of reading
- To develop the Art and DT curriculum to improve outcomes and experiences for children
- To embed children’s number fluency (efficiency, accuracy, flexibility)
- To further improve our work with all families to ensure that parents/carers and school staff working together to support and improve the learning, development and health of children
- To improve attendance so it is above national averages
Continuous school improvement priorities
- To develop leadership at all levels
- To further consolidate the SEND offer addressing increasing need to ensure that all pupils make appropriate progress whatever their starting points and level of need
- To maintain the Morningside play offer to support well-being, language development
- To further embed the culture of excellent behaviour
- Refine Oracy in all phases to support pupils in all phases achieve improved outcomes in reading and writing
- Disadvantaged pupils make accelerated progress from their starting points meaning gaps are closing
- To continue developing strategies to support the whole school community with their wellbeing and mental health
- To review and develop assessment and monitoring processes to ensure that support for learning and teaching is of the highest quality
- Systems in place to support the Children at risk of underachieving
- To further develop pedagogy through high quality professional development
- To ensure that the EYFS curriculum supports progression, effective pitch and challenge
